Welcome to our nursery
We are a small nursery in Wavertree, run as a charity, caring for up to 50 children aged 1 to 5 in two rooms. Ofsted rated us Outstanding in all areas in September 2022.
Our days are built around nature, Montessori-inspired learning and an Islamic ethos, and families of every faith are welcome here. We are open 8:30am to 4pm in term time and accept 15 and 30 funded hours.

Nature and play
Our children grow vegetables, look after our chickens and help care for Pearl, our African snail. They cook in the mud kitchen, build dens, splash in water play and make music on the sound wall.
Our approach
Montessori-inspired and EYFS
Children do real jobs for themselves, like putting away their coats and helping to make snack. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and let children's interests lead the way.
How children learn
Faith and kindness, open to all
Circle time begins with Sūrah al-Fātiḥah, and children learn some Arabic every day. Families of every faith and background are welcome here.

Join our waiting list
Children can start at any time of year.
Our waiting list is usually several months long, so we recommend joining up to a year before you'd like your child to start. Brothers and sisters of children already at the nursery are offered places first.

Wherever they can, children help prepare their own snack.
Sleep and rest
Children who need a nap can have one.
